Our Strategy
We have been pioneers since the early 1990’s,
when we were the first to link strategic planning to project portfolio
management in an integrated software product. Enterprise Portfolio
Management (EPfM) is now recognized as a major market by industry
analysts (including Gartner, Giga, Meta, IDC and others).
Within the EPfM market, GenSight® is uniquely positioned
at the intersection of Portfolio Optimization (high-end EPfM)
and Business Performance Management (part of the Business
Intelligence market). We offer a breakthrough solution for organizations
to increase profitability optimizing corporate resource allocation
across competing opportunities with disparate strategic goals, potential
rates of return, investment risks, constraints and dependencies.
GenSight® is committed to providing best-of-breed
portfolio optimization solutions that work across all types
of corporate portfolios. Our approach is fundamentally differentiated
from our competitors whose products have typically evolved from a background
of project management tools or project workflow and tracking.
Organization
The present company was formed through a merger
in June 2002 between Strategic Dynamics Ltd (the developers of the
GenSight® software,
founded in the UK in 1993 by David Munt) and the Portfolio Management
consulting division of The Atlantis Group, Inc. (founded in 1997
in Pennsylvania by Michael Menard). The GenSight Group has offices in the USA and UK.
